Creating a custom style guide

A style guide captures all the typographic elements you need when writing. Why use a style guide?

  1. All typography will be consistently formatted
    • Headings, Lists, Paragraphs, Captions, and more
  2. You can write without having to think about formatting; leaving you free to concentrate on writing your story

The style guide allows you to store all your formatting preferences and have them applied automatically in your writing projects.

  • You can customize a style guide at any time and it will automatically update your project
  • You can change the style guide on a project at any time and the new settings will be automatically applied

To create your own custom style guide:

  1. Go to the assets tab / Public and double clikc on the style guide you with to duplicate
  2. When the preset wizard is pen, click on ‘Save as new’; enter a name for your style, click the tick icon
  3. You can now edit the style guide to change any element your rquired
  4. Update any project settings to use the new style guide
  5. Note: Every project that uses the same style guide will be formatted exactly the same. If you want modifications,c reate a new style guide and apply it to the relevant project
