A caption is an automatically numbered title that accompanies an image of some kind where the number belongs to the image series. For example, a table, a figure, a chart, a map, or an exhibit. 

Tips 

1. The caption running title is the formal title for the image and will appear in the smart list (e.g., The Mona Lisa)

2. The caption label indicates the image series (e.g., table, figure, chart, exhibit, equation)
