The Project Editor opens when: you click on the name of an existing project on the dashboard when you Start a New Project The Project Editor is where you edit all your writing. Tips Hold the Command or Contro l key on your keyboard and click Resources in the head and a new tab will open with your resources active. This allows you to add or edit resources while you have the Writing Editor open.

A S ection is a grouping tool to: enable easy movement of multiple objects allow objects to be collapsed to get them out of the way enable nesting of sub-sections (e.g., level 2, 3, 4, etc.). When you add a New Section , a S ection Marker (vertical line) will appear. This term is used for formatting the reference style. A subsequent citation occurs when a resource has been inserted (cited) more than once in a project. The subsequent citation is not the first citation, or a consecutive citation, but a repeated citation. Tips 1. When you Insert a URL Link into your Writing Project , the URL Link (blue icon) will appear. Click on the Link to open it and see what you added, edit what your added or delete what you added. Every project has a background Writing Template that includes: Cover Preliminaries Body Addenda Each Writing Template is discrete and is indicated by a horizontal line.
